立体音響聴取時における温度提示を用いた人や気配や環境の雰囲気提示の試み

Abstract

Stereophonic sound is widely used to increase the immersion in the VR space. Especially when using binaural microphones to listen to people's speech in the ear near field and contents recorded with environmental sounds, it is possible to feel the talker 's feeling and the atmosphere of the environment. In this research, in order to enhance the feeling of appearance obtained at the time of listening to the stereophonic sound, we presented the temperature sensation using the Peltier element on the neck and subjective evaluation experiments at that time were conducted. As a result, it was suggested that especially when presenting cold temperature, it is easy to enhance the realistic and immersive feeling of natural sound.

立体音響はVR 空間への没入感を高めるために広く用いられている.特にバイノーラルマイクロフォンを用いて耳近接場での人の話し声や環境音を記録したコンテンツを聴取すると,話者の気配や環境の雰囲気を感じることができる.本研究は立体音響聴取時に得られる気配感を増強するために,首筋にペルチェ素子を使って温度感覚提示をし,その際の主観評価実験を行った.結果,冷温提示をした場合には特に自然音の臨場感や没入感を高めやすいことが示唆された.
