Hey there, fellow Earthlings! Let me introduce myself in a way that won't put you to sleep. I'm a materials scientist extraordinaire, armed with the incredible power of atomistic and micromechanical simulations. Think of me as a superhero, but instead of capes and masks, I don my lab coat and goggles!

Currently, I'm rocking the position of Senior R&D Engineer at Ansys, where I get to play with microstructures and crystal plasticity simulations. No, it's not about making crystal structures bend and twist like a contortionist (although that would be cool). It's all about understanding the nitty-gritty details of material deformation at the microscale level. By analyzing crystal structures and orientations, I uncover the secrets of how materials behave under loading conditions.

Now, hold on to your hats because what I do has the potential to turn the world of materials and technology on its head! My work could revolutionize the way we design and develop new materials and gadgets. But before my Ansys days, I was a globe-trotting postdoctoral researcher. I hung out at Ruhr University Bochum in Germany, where I tinkered with advanced simulation techniques to unlock the micromechanics of materials. And before that, I jetted off to the University of Rochester in the US to conduct cutting-edge research on metal plasticity using mind-blowing atomistic simulations. Picture me as a mad scientist, unraveling the secrets of materials one atom at a time! (now one node/element at a time!)

To back up my awesomeness, I earned my Ph.D. in Computational Materials Science and Engineering from IIT Kharagpur. That's where I honed my skills in atomistic simulations and dove deep into the atomic-scale behavior of materials. I'm like the Sherlock Holmes of the material world, except instead of solving crimes, I'm cracking the case of deformation and failure in materials. With this knowledge, I can optimize existing materials for specific industrial needs or even cook up new materials that outperform the rest.

So, buckle up and get ready for an electrifying journey through the world of materials, where atoms dance and crystals bend to my will. Trust me, it's a wild ride you won't want to miss!
