Privacy Policy — ConvertX

ConvertX (“we”, “our”, “the App”) provides number-to-words, unit conversion and currency conversion features in English, Hindi and French. This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects and how it is used.
Information we collect
Device & usage information (non-personal): The App may collect technical information such as device type, OS version, and app usage events for the purpose of improving the App.
Network/Internet data: The App requires Internet permission to fetch live currency exchange rates. The App does not transmit personal identifiers as part of this functionality.
No account or personal data
ConvertX does not require or collect user accounts, names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other personally identifiable information (PII).
The App does not require user login.
Third-party services
The App may use third-party services/APIs to retrieve currency rates. Those services may have their own privacy policies; we do not control their data practices.
Analytics & Crash Reporting
By default, ConvertX does not collect personal data for analytics. (If you integrate analytics — e.g., Firebase Crashlytics or Google Analytics — you must update this policy to reflect that.)
Data retention & deletion
We do not store personal user data on our servers. If you believe the App has collected personal information about you, contact us (see below) and we will address your request.
Security
We use reasonable measures to protect data in transit. However, no system is 100% secure.
Children
The App is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will publish the effective date at the top.
