During the Dithwah disaster period, Suhada Yathra carried out a humanitarian relief program to support communities affected by landslides in the Kelaniya and Kadugannawa areas. On November 30, donation distributions were organized to assist families who faced sudden displacement, loss of property, and livelihood challenges.
Relief support was provided to the following communities:
Weliwathura – Mahantegama Division
Kahawandala – Kahawandala Division
Nawandala – Heenatpana Division
The initiative focused on delivering essential supplies and offering timely support to affected individuals, with the aim of easing immediate hardships and standing in solidarity with disaster-stricken communities. Suhada Yathra reaffirmed its commitment to compassion, community support, and rapid response during times of natural disasters.

November 2025
During the Dithwah disaster period, Suhada Yathra carried out an emergency humanitarian relief program in Badulla – Passara, supporting families severely affected by floods and landslides.
On 30th November, our volunteer team reached the impacted areas and distributed essential donations, including dry rations and basic necessities, directly to affected households. The initiative focused on timely support, dignity, and community solidarity during a critical time of need.
This project reflects Suhada Yathra’s commitment to rapid disaster response, compassion-driven action, and community resilience, standing with vulnerable communities when they need it most.

During the Dithwah disaster period, Suhada Yathra Project carried out a humanitarian relief initiative in Kelaniya, Pattiya Utura Grama Sewa Wasama, supporting families affected by severe flooding.
On 30th November, essential donation items were distributed to individuals and households who faced displacement, property damage, and daily hardships due to the floods. This initiative focused on providing timely assistance, dignity, and emotional support to affected communities during a critical moment.
The program was driven by volunteer collaboration and community engagement, reflecting Suhada Yathra’s commitment to compassion, rapid response, and sustainable humanitarian action during natural disasters.
