If you want a secure, low-profile solution specifically designed for the 2020-2025 Kia Soul to keep your hunting gear safe from theft, choose ANTS PART Anti-Theft Roof Rack; if you need a complete OE-style upgrade kit with integrated rails for the 2021-2027 Toyota Sienna to carry heavy camping or fishing loads, choose Snailfly 4PCS. This isn't a close call between two identical products; these are engineered for completely different vehicles and specific use cases that define how you will actually load them on the road.
• ANTS PART Anti-Theft Roof Rack: Its greatest strength is the robust metal locking mechanism designed to deter thieves on your vehicle, but it lacks integrated side rails, meaning you must attach clamps directly to your car's roof structure. This pick is for the Kia Soul owner who prioritizes security and a sleek, aerodynamic profile over all-in-one rail systems.
• Snailfly 4PCS: Its biggest advantage is the inclusion of four pieces total (two crossbars plus two silver rails) that bolt directly into existing factory holes, creating a complete system without drilling. However, it does not feature the same explicit anti-theft locking mechanism described in the other unit, trading that specific security feature for a more traditional rail setup. This pick is for the Toyota Sienna driver looking for a seamless, high-capacity carrier for oversized gear like kayaks or luggage.
The ANTS PART Anti-Theft Roof Rack is built with a very specific mission in mind: securing cargo on a compact crossover while maintaining a clean look. In practical terms, this means the crossbars themselves lock into place, making it significantly harder for someone to simply unbolt the bars and steal your rooftop box, bike, or hunting blind accessories while parked at a trailhead. For a hunter heading out early in the morning to a remote location, knowing that the rack itself is tamper-proof adds a layer of peace of mind that generic plastic clips just don't offer.
The construction relies on high-grade aluminum for the bars, finished with a black power-coated surface that is explicitly waterproof and anti-corrosion. This is not just about aesthetics; it is about longevity in harsh conditions. If you are driving through rain, snow, or muddy backroads during deer season, you need a rack that won't rust or degrade after a single season. The material choice ensures the structural integrity remains intact even when exposed to the elements repeatedly. Furthermore, the aerodynamic shape is engineered to minimize wind noise, a detail that matters immensely when you are trying to maintain fuel efficiency and comfort on a long highway drive to a hunting ground.
However, there is a distinct trade-off you must accept with this design. The product fits only the 2020 through 2025 Kia Soul and explicitly excludes panoramic roofs. More importantly, this unit comes as just two crossbars; it does not include side rails. You are relying on the vehicle's existing mounting points or aftermarket side rails (if equipped) to hold these bars in place. The width is adjustable, and the front bar is longer than the rear to accommodate the vehicle's specific size, but you are installing a "bar-only" system. This requires a bit more precision during installation compared to a full rail kit, as the brackets are made of high-quality plastic that must be positioned perfectly to support the 165-pound load capacity evenly.
This product is perfect for the Kia Soul owner who wants a lightweight, low-profile solution that doesn't scream "expensive cargo." It is ideal for carrying roof bags, surfboards, or light bikes where the primary concern is keeping the gear attached and secure. Conversely, if you have a panoramic sunroof, you must skip this entirely, as it will not fit. Similarly, if you are looking for a permanent, heavy-duty rail system that bolts into the roof rails of a minivan, this bar-only setup might feel too temporary or basic for your needs.

The Snailfly 4PCS system takes a fundamentally different approach by offering a complete "all-in-one" kit tailored for the Toyota Sienna. Where the ANTS PART focuses on the bars alone, this package includes two black crossbars and two silver roof rack rails, totaling four pieces. This distinction is vital for the Sienna owner because it transforms the vehicle's roof into a functional platform without requiring any cutting or drilling. The description emphasizes an "OE-Style" fit, which implies that the hardware integrates seamlessly with the factory mounting holes. For someone preparing for a family camping trip or a hunting expedition where they need to transport bulky items like canoes, fishing poles, or large luggage, having a dedicated rail system provides a much wider and more stable base for strapping down gear.
The practical utility of this kit shines when dealing with oversized items. The marketing notes it as a "must-have" for transporting kayaks, canoes, and ski gear, suggesting a design philosophy centered on maximum capacity and versatility. By bolting directly to the original roof holes, the system eliminates the guesswork often associated with aftermarket add-ons. The inclusion of both black and silver components suggests a deliberate aesthetic choice to match or contrast with the vehicle's exterior, enhancing the visual attraction of the Sienna. This is not just a utility item; it is designed to look like part of the car from the factory. The ease of installation is highlighted as a major selling point, allowing users to quickly assemble the kit and get on the road without specialized tools or professional help.
The main trade-off here lies in the scope of the security features compared to the alternative. While the ANTS PART explicitly boasts a "robust metal locking mechanism" for the bars themselves, the Snailfly description focuses on the mechanical stability of the rail-to-roof connection rather than a specific anti-theft lock for the crossbars. This does not mean it is insecure, but the design priority appears to be on integration and capacity rather than a dedicated tamper-proof lock on the bars. Additionally, the unit count indicates a larger footprint on the roof. If you frequently park in tight urban spaces or need to remove the rack often, the presence of four pieces (two rails plus two bars) might be slightly more cumbersome to handle than a simple two-bar set.
This product is best suited for the Toyota Sienna owner who values a complete, factory-integrated look and needs to haul significant volume. It is the right choice if you plan to carry heavy, wide loads like a kayak or a full set of hunting blinds. However, if you own a Kia Soul, this is not an option, as it is strictly incompatible with that model year range. Also, if your priority is a bare-bones, minimalistic setup that hides behind the roofline, the addition of visible silver rails might not appeal to your taste, though it does provide a sturdier anchor point for heavy cargo.
• Best for Security Features → ANTS PART Anti-Theft Roof Rack: If your top priority is preventing theft of the rack itself while you are away, the explicit metal locking mechanism on the bars gives this product a clear edge.
• Best for Complete System Integration → Snailfly 4PCS: If you want a ready-to-go solution that includes the rails needed to mount the bars securely to your vehicle, this kit offers a more comprehensive hardware package.
• Best for Vehicle Specificity → Match Your Car: The ANTS PART is exclusively for the 2020-2025 Kia Soul, while the Snailfly 4PCS is exclusively for the 2021-2027 Toyota Sienna. You cannot swap these; your vehicle dictates the winner immediately.
• Best for Low-Profile Aesthetics → ANTS PART Anti-Theft Roof Rack: With no side rails and a focus on minimizing wind noise, the ANTS PART sits lower and cleaner on the roof, reducing drag and visual clutter.
• Best for Heavy/Over-Sized Cargo Capacity → Snailfly 4PCS: The inclusion of dual rails provides a wider, more robust foundation for strapping down large items like canoes or multiple sets of hunting gear.
• Best for Ease of Installation → Tie: Both systems claim a "no-drill" installation using existing holes, though the Snailfly requires handling four separate pieces versus the two-piece ANTS PART setup.
• Best for Hunting Trips (Kia Soul Owners) → ANTS PART Anti-Theft Roof Rack: For those with a Soul, the anti-theft locks are crucial for protecting expensive gear left unattended at a campsite.
• Best for Hunting Trips (Sienna Owners) → Snailfly 4PCS: For those with a Sienna, the rail system offers the stability needed to secure large game processing kits or bulk camping supplies.
After weighing the specifications and intended use cases, I would buy the ANTS PART Anti-Theft Roof Rack if I were driving a Kia Soul, primarily because of the dedicated anti-theft locking mechanism. When you are out on a hunting trip, leaving valuable gear on your roof overnight is a risk, and a rack that locks itself off is a non-negotiable safety feature. On the other hand, if I owned a Toyota Sienna, I would immediately choose the Snailfly 4PCS. The inclusion of the four-piece kit with integrated rails provides the necessary stability and OE-style finish required for a minivan carrying heavy, bulky loads. The decision ultimately comes down to your vehicle and whether you prioritize the security of the lock or the completeness of the rail system. For the specific context of a hunting trip, the security aspect of the ANTS PART makes it the superior choice for its compatible vehicle, ensuring your gear stays put regardless of where you park.
No, neither product is universal. The ANTS PART is strictly for the 2020-2025 Kia Soul (excluding panoramic roofs), while the Snailfly 4PCS is designed exclusively for the 2021-2027 Toyota Sienna. Always verify your exact make, model, and year before purchasing.
Both products advertise a "no-drill" installation process that utilizes existing factory mounting points. The ANTS PART comes with necessary tools for assembly, and the Snailfly kit includes the hardware needed to bolt the rails and bars directly to the roof holes.
The Snailfly data sheet does not explicitly state a pound limit, but it is marketed for oversized items like kayaks and canoes, implying a robust capacity suitable for heavy recreational gear.
The ANTS PART explicitly mentions an aerodynamic shape designed to effectively minimize wind noise, which is a key benefit for highway driving. The Snailfly focuses on its OE-style appearance but does not highlight specific wind-noise reduction engineering in its provided details.
