Since 2015 I've been a Research Scientist at Datometry working on a novel data virtualization platform which makes databases interchangeable.
From 2010 till early 2015 I was a Software Engineer at Pivotal (aka Greenplum aka EMC) where I was part of the team that developed the Orca query optimizer.
I got my PhD from Cornell in 2010 under the supervision of Prof. Christoph Koch. Before that I received my MSc from Saarland University, Germany, and BSc from Sofia University, Bulgaria.
