I am a Postdoctoral Researcher at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, working at the intersection of Bayesian statistics, Econometrics, and Complex Networks. I combine knowledge from computational statistics, especially Markov Chain Monte Carlo, and computer science to code efficient algorithms for the models I develop. My current research focuses on Latent Space network models, with meaningful applications spanning diverse socio-economic domains, including Media Economics and Quantitative Finance. Throughout my academic career, I pursued not only frontier research, but also high-quality teaching and public outreach.
Previously, I worked as a Senior Scientist at Alpen-Adria Universität Klagenfurt.
I obtained my Ph.D. in Economics at Ca' Foscari University of Venice under the supervision of Prof. Roberto Casarin.

High-Dimensional Data, Networks, and Beyond
The workshop is a satellite event of the 3rd Workshop on Sustainable Finance, Spoke 4, and aims to bring together researchers working at the intersection of Bayesian statistics, network modeling, and high-dimensional econometrics.
Particular emphasis will be given to applications in economics, finance, and the social sciences, with connections to key themes of the PNRR GRINS project.
More information about the workshop can be found at the following website:
