A. D. Madeira
 Addison Dashiell Madiera Jr. was born to Reverend Addison Dashiell Madeira and Louise Issett Madeira on November 15th 1859 in Covington, Kentucky. He had 8 children and 1 half sibling. He appears in the 1860 U.S census at the age of 1, living in Keokuk city, Lee county, Iowa. He shows up In the 1870 and 1880 census in Kansas City Missouri, and the 1895 Minnesota census in St. Paul. He married Clara Wadell on June 27th 1883 In Garrison, Pottawatomie County, Kansas. He had three children, PVT Addison D Madeira Jr. (killed in France in 1918), Fay Madeira Flood, and Harreit Isabella Madeira Peters. He was an early pioneer recording artist and recorded for Edison and Victor. His last census appearance was in 1930, showing he lived in Kasnsas City, Missouri and he died there on October 8th 1930. He is buried in Elmwood Cemetery in Kansas City.
