Anthony Wiskich

I am a postdoctoral fellow at the Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation. I received my PhD from the Australian National University in 2021 and am a doctoral student associate for the centre for applied macroeconomic analysis. I have worked as an economist in the IMF and Australian public and private sectors, and as an IT consultant before this. My research interests include:  opportunities for advanced engineering biology in a low-emissions future; optimal carbon prices under uncertainty of climate tipping; substitutability between clean and dirty inputs in electricity; different instruments to achieve a clean transition; and the effect of clean financing costs on optimal policy.
