21 Stories for Scouts

I led the most visible and unique special event in Rochester, raising $140,957 revenue to our annual 21 Stories for Scouts rappelling event vs. a budgeted goal of $60,000 net revenue. This included expanding the event committee, implementing participant engagement opportunities, and leading a change to a new building.

The event was built on a peer-to-peer fundraising model using online technologies to maximize revenue. I worked effectively with the committee every step of the way to make an experience like none other for all our participants and find ways to maximize revenue.

Every special event offers the opportunity to increase revenue, decrease expenses and grow the overall experience for our guests.
