I am an assistant professor at the University of Texas at Austin. My research interests lie in the topology of manifolds with a focus on knotted surfaces and 4-dimensional topology. 

I obtained my PhD in 2017 at the University of Geneva under the supervision of David Cimasoni and was a postdoc at Durham University, (funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation), the Max Planck Institut für Mathematik and MIT. Here is a more detailed CV.
