Anson Bastos

I am a scientist, broadly working in the area of machine learning. I completed my Doctorate of Philosophy (Ph.D.) under the guidance of Dr. Toyotaro Suzumura (University of Tokyo) and Dr. Manish Singh (IITH) in the department of Computer Science & Engineering at Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH). Prior to pursuing my doctoral research I worked as a data scientist in Servify and an ML engineer in TCS. I completed my Bachelors of Technology (B.Tech.) from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute, Mumbai. Currently I work as an applied scientist at HERE technologies.

My research interests include Geometric Machine Learning (Graph Representation Learning), Spectral Graph Theory,  Knowledge Graph Representation Learning, Topology, Natural Language Processing.
