About Me:

"Everyone has to eat."  - Dr. Michael Bartolo, Director of the Colorado State University Arkansas Valley Research Center (AVRC), Retired

Growing up on a farm, and working at the AVRC  in high school/junior college showed me how much of a communication gap can exist between university researchers and farmers when it comes to education and implementing new agricultural practices. Researchers often communicate in science while producers tend to communicate in dollars.  Unfortunately, this often leads to both parties being disappointed!

It is my personal goal to try and bridge this gap someday by applying research and my own background in farming to help producers everywhere understand the science and adopt the best management practices for their situation because it makes the most environmental and economic sense for all parties involved.
