"Everyone has to eat."
— Dr. Michael Bartolo, Former Director of the Colorado State University Arkansas Valley Research Center (AVRC)
Growing up on a farm and working at the AVRC during high school and junior college, I saw firsthand how the disconnect between researchers and farmers can hinder progress. Researchers speak the language of science; producers speak the language of economics. When these conversations don’t align, both sides miss opportunities for meaningful change.
My goal is to bridge this gap. By combining rigorous research with my own agricultural background, I strive to help producers not only understand the science but also implement practical, effective management strategies that balance environmental sustainability with economic success. Because when research makes sense in the field, it benefits everyone.
