I work as Research Lead at United Nations Migration Agency (IOM)'s Regional Data Hub for Asia–Pacific, covering a diverse portfolio spanning data analysis, research, technical advisory, statistical training and capacity building.
I specialize in migration and labour economics, with advanced proficiency in quantitative research methods including statistical and econometric modeling. Before joining IOM, I worked and consulted for various academic and government institutions such as Statistics Netherlands, Sciences Po, United Nations University, Ghent University and Bremen University.
I obtained my PhD in Economics from Maastricht University, where I taught graduate courses on quantitative methods of public policy analysis using Stata. My primary research interests are in social welfare, poverty and inequality, labour, migration and development, with a keen focus on advancing evidence-based policy making and public discourse through the use of data.
