Anna Schriefl

I am Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin at the Research Training Group 'Philosophy, Science and the Sciences' at Humboldt Universität zu Berlin. Before coming to Berlin, I was Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin at Bonn University and stayed at the New School in New York City as a Feodor Lynen Research Fellow. In 2020, I was an invited guest professor at the interdisciplinary Zentrum für Altertumswissenschaften Zürich (ZAZH). I mainly work on Ancient Greek Philosophy. My first book, on Plato's criticism of money and wealth, was published in 2013. My second book, an introduction to Ancient Stoicism, came out in 2019. I currently work on Aristotle's concept of matter and on Aristotle's embryology.
