I recently completed my PhD at the University of Washington, Seattle. My research focuses on Mechanics of Materials, Design, Composite Materials, High Energetics (Radio-frequency, Plasma, Ultrasonics), Sustainable Polymers, and Advanced Manufacturing. Prior to my doctoral studies at UW Seattle, I worked at Mahindra Research Valley, Chennai, India for half a decade. There I was entrusted with design (Body-on-Frame and Monocoque chassis) and simulation (Full Vehicle Ride & Handling per ISO standards, Road Load Data Acquisition Virtual Analysis, Powertrain vibration analysis, Steering returnability analysis, etc.) of vehicle chassis and mechanical controls. I completed my undergraduate in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Silchar, India, where I worked on coating carbon fibers with oxidized carbon nanoparticles using ultrasonicated electrophoretic deposition to increase the interlaminar shear strength of carbon fiber laminates. An Indian patent (Patent No. 341816) was granted for this work.

When not in the lab, I am usually running along the Burke-Gilman Trail, working on my cooking skills, fishing, or driving around the mesmerizing city of Seattle.
