Dr. Ankur Pandey

Namaskar! Welcome to my web-page. I am an Assistant Professor at Department of Electronics Engineering, RGIPT, Jais, Amethi which is an Institute of National Importance. I completed my Ph.D. degree in February, 2022 from Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Patna, India. I was fortunate to work under the supervision of Dr. Sudhir Kumar.  I  received my  M.Tech. degree in Communication Systems Engineering from Department of Electrical Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Patna in 2018. Prior to this I worked with Tata Consultancy Services for 5.5 Years as IT Analyst. My research interest includes the  broad area of signal processing for IoT networks . I am focused and curious to work on sensor data analytics, localization, activity recognition, bio-medical signal processing, AI solutions for Oil and Gas Industries, and climate change analytics.  I am Co-Founder of Dhenutrack Private Limited that is working on automated cow management system and tracking.

• Feb 2026: Invited Industry talk at HAL Korwa for the  awareness and knowledge-sharing session on the theme:“Enhancement of Productivity through Artificial Intelligence, Industry 4.0, and the Internet of Things (IoT)”

• Feb 2026: Best Teacher Award in the Department of Electrical and Electronics for the academic year 2024-2025 on the RGIPT Institute day 2026.

• Jan 2026: Invited training talk as a resource person at IOCL Training Program on Implementation of AI in refineries.

• Jan 2026: Invited Talk at IEEE Signal Processing Society Seasonal School on "Future Perspectives in Audio and Acoustic Signal Processing in Recent Advances", hosted by the Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune, during January 27-31, 2026, in offline mode.

• Jan 2026: Year started with a good news as IEEE Journal of Radio Frequency Identification accepted as first author!
