Welcome to my corner of the digital world! I'm Ankit Sikarwar, a post-doctoral research fellow at the French Institute of Demographic Studies (INED) in Paris, France.

My research dives deep into the synergy of environmental and demographic data, leveraging advanced remote sensing and GIS methodologies. Beyond my role at INED, I actively engage with global demographic dialogues through IUSSP (International Union for the Scientific Study of Population), PAA (Population Association of America), EAPS (European Association for Population Studies), GLP (Global Land Program), and other scientific organizations.

Committed to knowledge and skill transfer, I teach at the EDSD (European Doctoral School of Demography) program and Université Paris-1 focusing on the vital role of environmental data in demographic research.
