I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
---Robert Frost
Background
I am a tenure-track assistant professor in the Department of Mathematical Sciences at the University of Delaware. Prior to that, I was a William H. Kruskal Instructor at the University of Chicago. In 2023, I received my Ph.D in Mathematics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where I worked primarily with Prof. Qin Li and Prof. Samuel Stechmann. In 2018, I obtained a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Physics from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
Research interests
Applied analysis, scientific computing, inverse problems and machine learning for physical systems governed by multiscale (stochastic) PDEs. Recent research includes applications of wave propagation in random media and kinetic theory for optical communication, imaging and material design.
