I am interested in understanding the causes, consequences and relationships between poverty and food insecurity, as well as strategies and interventions to improve these outcomes. I use household panel data, randomized controlled trials and experimental methods. 

I received my PhD from the University of Illinois in 2025 and I am currently working as a lecturer in economics and agricultural economics at the University of Saskatchewan.
