About me:
I am an Associate Professor at Lumière University Lyon 2.
I Teach Applied Mathematics and Computer Science in the Computer Science department of the Institut de la Communication (ICOM).
I am also a Researcher at the Entrepôt, Représentation, Ingénierie des Connaissances (ERIC) Laboratory, where I am a Member of the DMD Team.
Research interests:
My research focuses on Shape Analysis, Speech Processing and Manifold Learning.
Some of my favorite problems include Bayesian inference in the context of 2D and 3D Shape Analysis.
I also work on Optimization, Learning, and Prediction on Matrix Manifolds such as Stiefel and Grassmannian.
Additionally, I am interested in reducing the Complexity of Probabilistic Time-frequency representations.
For more details, please refer to my publications on Google Scholar and ResearchGate below.
Previous positions:
From January 2023 to August 2024, I served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Laboratory of Computer Science, Systems Modeling, and Optimization (LIMOS) at the University of Clermont Auvergne, specifically within the Axis SIC.
From November 2021 to December 2022, I served as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the French Institute for Research in Computer Science and Automation (INRIA) at the University of Bordeaux, collaborating with the GEOSTAT team.
I successfully defended my PhD (Hons.) at the University of Clermont Auvergne in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science on July 7, 2021.
From September 2020 to February 2021 and during my PhD, I served as a Temporary Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of Clermont Auvergne.
From September 2017 to August 2018, I served as a Contractual Lecturer at the University of Sousse, Tunisia.
