An Exciting Tense Arena Shooter where the guns...don't hurt you?

PixArena is a concept that was born during the 5-day Pixel Art Game Jam held at Rubika (Pune Branch). It was innovated when the team wanted to make a unique shooter with typical mechanics replaced with something much newer and more unique.

Welcome to the year 2089 where capitalism has taken over the world and left Earth to be the dumpster humans have always treated it as. With laws and morals being sold off for just a few more extra numbers in some evil scientists bank account, human cloning and gene modification has grown to be a massive and lucrative market for anyone looking to get a little extra cheddar cheese.

Take control of Cidney or her evil Doppelganger Sydney as you have the ultimate fight for your life. Cidney wanting to stop at nothing to expose the government and their secret plan to kill anyone opposing them and replacing them with obedient clones. Sydney being sent from the government to take care of Cidney and stop her from leaking the secret. Who will come on top in this epic encounter?

But in this world the guns don't harm any organic manner, but shoot microwaves out that can activate other machines. This was originally used to make life easier, but people have found out they can get away with crimes if someone were to be "accidentally incinerated". You as the player have control over one of these guns and can use it to activate traps spread around the map. You can shoot platforms to activate Fire pillars or Freeze opponents. Shoot Spikes to rain dangerous projectiles your opponent must dodge. You also have a Push on the gun that can make those so called "accidents" happen even sooner.
