About Me

Anik Das is an MSc (thesis-based) graduate in Computer Science at St. Francis Xavier University (StFX), Canada who joined the Convergence Lab in the Fall 2021. He worked under the supervision of Dr. James Hughes on various real-world applications of Machine Learning, focusing on health-related perspectives of the human being. Also, he worked as a Graduate Research Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at StFX. 

Anik Das is a Former Lecturer in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering at the Bangladesh University, Dhaka, Bangladesh. Earlier, he has completed BSc in the Department of Computer Science & Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology (CUET), Chittagong, Bangladesh in 2019.

Anik Das is a promising young scholar who has been involved in multiple research collaborations with some eminent researchers around the world. He possesses a strong interest in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Evolutionarily Computation, Data Mining, Human-Computer Interaction, Data Science, Social Media Analysis, Game AI, Bioinformatics, Neuroscience, Educational & Health Games and Multimedia Systems. Currently, he is involved in conducting several research works, writing high-level scientific manuscripts and publishing them in different prestigious peer-reviewed journals and conferences.
