Hi, my name is Angus McAndrew! I am a mathematics teacher at Camberwell Girls Grammar School. Prior to that I was a Program Manager at Math Minds in Melbourne, primarily based in Kew.
My interest in mathematics is broad, but my recent work has been in the areas of Number Theory and Arithmetic Geometry.
Previously I was a lecturer in the department of mathematics and statistics at Boston University, postdoctoral researcher at the Australian National University, and prior to that a PhD student in Mathematics at Boston University. My research advisor was Jared Weinstein.
Here is a copy of my CV (updated March 2025).
I designed some mathematics activities for high school students as a part of ANU's STEM boxes. To the right (or below, depending on your viewing screen) you can see a video of me explaining one of them! There are more available on the Science Lab ANU Youtube channel.
