"Going Out West"

Years ago, I got in my old Toyota Corolla and left the Midwest behind, driving out West and ultimately moving to Utah.  That one decision has changed my life for the better- new friends, my husband, and numerous challenges and joys were in my future. This painting was my attempt to capture the energy and excitement that awaited me, even in the face of the unknown.
