Privacy Policy — Vector Curve

App name: Vector Curve
Package name: com.vectorcurve.app
Effective date: 14 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Vector Curve (“we”, “us”, “our”) handles information when you use the Android app Vector Curve.

Vector Curve is a drawing app for creating vector illustrations and patterns. It is designed to work offline. We do not operate user accounts, and we do not upload your drawings to our servers.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to Vector Curve as distributed through Google Play. It does not apply to websites, apps, or services that we do not control, including Google Play itself.

If you contact us by email, this policy also covers the information you send us in that message.

2. Information we do not collect

We do not:

3. Information stored on your device

The app stores the following only on your device, in the app’s private storage and Android preferences:

This information stays on your device unless:

We cannot see this information. Uninstalling the app deletes the app’s private data from the device, subject to any copies already exported or backed up by your device or operating system.

4. Files you import or export

You may import images or SVG files using the Android system file picker. The app reads only the file you select, and only to place it in your drawing. We do not upload those files.

When you export, the app writes files you requested (for example PNG, SVG, or a layered ZIP) to device storage. Those files are yours. Other apps on your device may be able to access folders such as Pictures or Downloads, depending on your Android version and permissions.

5. Purchases and Google Play

Optional Premium features are sold through Google Play Billing. Available options are:

To show prices, complete a purchase, restore a purchase, and confirm whether Premium is active, the app connects to Google Play. That is why the app requests internet access.

Payment details (such as your card or Google payment method), your Google account identity, and Google’s purchase records are processed by Google, not by us. We do not receive your full payment card number, billing address, or Google account email through the app.

Through the Play Billing library, the app receives purchase status needed to unlock Premium on that device and Google account (for example product ID and whether a purchase is active). We do not operate our own payment server, and we do not build a profile of you from purchases.

Google’s handling of purchase data is described in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

6. Permissions

The app requests only:

Permission

Why

Internet

Communicate with Google Play for product prices, purchases, and restoring Premium. Drawing does not require a network connection.

Google Play Billing

Offer and restore in-app purchases and subscriptions.

The app does not request storage, photos, camera, microphone, location, or contacts permissions. Imports use the system picker, which does not require those permissions.

7. Android backup and device transfer

The app allows Android backup (allowBackup). If you have turned on backup or device transfer in Android settings, Google or your device manufacturer may copy app data — including drawings stored in the app — to your own backup account as part of the system backup. We do not receive that backup, and we do not control Google’s backup service.

You can manage backup in your device settings. See also: https://support.google.com/android/answer/2819582

8. Diagnostic logs

The app may write technical logs on the device while it runs (for example, whether an export succeeded). We do not transmit those logs to ourselves. They remain on the device unless you or Android (for example, a bug report you choose to send) share them.

9. How we use information

We use information only to:

We do not use your artwork to train models, for advertising, or for any purpose other than running the app on your device.

10. Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information.

The only third party involved in normal use of the app is Google, as the distributor of the app and the processor of Play purchases and, if you enable it, Android backup. We do not share your drawings with Google except to the extent Android’s own backup feature does so under your device settings.

If you email us, we use that message only to respond. We do not add you to a marketing list.

We may disclose information if the law requires it. Because we do not hold your drawings or an account database, we generally have nothing of yours to disclose beyond an email you sent us.

11. Children

Vector Curve is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not include accounts, social features, or ads.

Purchases require a Google Play account that is allowed to pay. A child’s purchases should be made only with a parent or guardian’s approval through Google Play family settings.

If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

12. How long information is kept

13. Security

Artwork is stored in the app’s private storage, which other apps cannot normally read. No method of storage is perfectly secure. Protect your device with a screen lock, and be careful about files you export into shared folders.

We do not transmit your drawings, so there is no developer server holding your artwork to breach.

14. Your choices and privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal information, or to object to certain processing.

Because we do not hold your drawings or an account profile:

We do not “sell” or “share” personal information as those terms are used in the California Consumer Privacy Act. We do not use your data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Residents of the EEA, UK, and Switzerland: the legal basis for using an email you send us is our legitimate interest in answering you, or steps taken at your request. On-device processing of your artwork is done on your device to provide the app you asked for. You may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

15. International transfers

We do not transfer your drawings to another country because we do not receive them. Google may process Play purchase data in countries where Google operates, under Google’s own terms and privacy policy.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if the app changes. The new version will show a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we handle personal information, we will provide notice in a reasonable way, such as in the app or on this page. Continued use of the app after the update means you accept the updated policy, to the extent allowed by law.
