Starting in Fall 2026, I will be a Postdoc at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, where I will work with Drew Heard.

I was born in Riverside, California and grew up in Houston, Texas. In May 2019 I graduated from the University of Texas Arlington with a Bachelor's in Mathematics. While I was at UT Arlington, I did reading courses with David Jorgensen and Daniel Warren. I received my PhD from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in August 2024 under the supervision of Mark Walker. From August 2024 to August 2026, I was a Postdoc at Texas Tech University, where I worked with Lars Christensen.

My research interests are in homological commutative algebra. In particular, I enjoy studying the vanishing of (co)homology and classifying properties of rings and homomorphisms via derived category methods .

In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and going on walks. My coolest experience as a graduate student was spending the Spring 2024 semester in Berkeley, California. My second coolest experience was attending Pan American School in Commutative Algebra in Summer 2022 in Guanajuato, Mexico.
