I am a Postdoc at Texas Tech University working with Lars Christensen.
I was born in Riverside, California and grew up in Houston, Texas. I received my Bachelor's in Mathematics from the University of Texas Arlington in 2019 and my PhD from the University of Nebraska Lincoln in 2024 under the supervision of Mark Walker.
My research interests are in homological aspects of commutative algebra, in particular the vanishing of Ext and Tor, Bass numbers and injective dimension of local cohomology, and the derived category of a ring and of a differential graded algebra.
In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and going on walks. My coolest experience as a graduate student was spending the spring 2024 semester in Berkeley, California. My second coolest experience was attending Pan American School in Commutative Algebra in summer 2022 in Guanajuato, Mexico.
