I recently joined the team at CHCH Morning Live to discuss a topic that rarely makes it into the boardroom: Childhood Trauma as an Executive Performance Bottleneck.
In high-performance circles, we obsess over "grit," "resilience," and "optimization." Yet, we often ignore the fact that many leaders are operating with a fractured Mental-Physical Cross-Connection. When you carry unresolved history, you aren't just "managing stress"—you are driving a high-performance engine while the emergency brake is engaged. You feel like you’re stuck in neutral, even while you’re running at 100mph.

As a Clinical Performance Consultant, I see this dynamic daily. High achievers often use their work as a container for past chaos. They become masters of control, productivity, and logic.
