Crypto Mining:

In December 2020, a friend and I salvaged parts from old computers to mine Ethereum. I made two Frankenstein mining setups out of old Mac and PC computer parts and managed a private mining pool with three other people. In one year, we generated 1.8 Etherium (~$8,000) with a combined mining power of more than 400 megahash per second.

Jordan Electric Car Club:

In middle school, the industrial tech classes inspired and connected my passion for tinkering and building things to utilitarian ideas and projects. I joined the Jordan Middle School Electric Car Club, where I built electric go-karts with classmates who enjoyed making things go. We finished our go-karts and drove them during the annual Palo Alto May Fete Parade.

Coasters:

I designed, manufactured, packaged, sold coasters at the local farmers' market. I spent 42 hours, sold 33 units, generating $668 in proceeds, and a profit of $528 after deducting costs. I learned how to run a business. I used the profit to buy a 3D printer.

Workbench:

This workbench was designed to help me organize my home workshop. It was made from mostly recycled materials such as old warehouse pallets and tables.

Full FRC Practice Field:

I designed a wooden practice field for my robotics team to affordably create the game layouts that change every year. It was designed with serviceability and modularity in mind, with many segments lasting over 3 years of abuse.

Custom Bike Lights:

To improve night safety for my mom, I installed LED strips to light up her bike frame, improving visibility to drivers.
