My name is Andres Mejia. I'm a researcher specializing in math. I’m interested broadly in applications of homotopy theory to manifold topology. In particular, moduli of manifolds in dimension greater than 4.
My work thus far has been in equivariant stable homotopy theory, equivariant embedding calculus, and algebraic K-theory.
I'm also interested in applications of mathematical modeling to real world contexts.
I am currently an INI postdoctoral fellow at the Isaac Newton Institute. I recieved my PhD as a Calabi scholar at the University of Pennsylvania studying under Mona Merling. I was further supported by the NSF GRFP fellowship and Fontaine fellowship.
