Various EdTech Conferences and Trainings
August 2017 - Present
Having all the stakeholders involved and well versed in what they are doing with technology is integral to increasing the potential and success of use. As such, my various roles over the years have involved leading trainings and workshops to build confidence and empower users through new implementations and technology integration initiatives. In addition to training-type workshops at schools, I also speak on various other topics intended to motivate and spark innovation with technology and in the classroom. At the root of all these topics is the goal of helping others raise student engagement and excitement for learning. I speak at local and national conferences like FETC, FCIS, ShiftInEdu (previously Miami Device), iPadpalooza, EdTech Learning Summit, etc. Some of my more popular topics are:
Authentic Audiences: Student Voice In, Out, and Beyond the Classroom
EdTech Tools Cool for School
Brand Box EDU: Branding for Optimal Student Buy-in
ConnectED: The Social Learning Experience
Makerfication!: The Intersection of Making and Gamification
Gamification on the Go!
