Prof. Dr. Andreas Haufler

I am a professor of public economics and economic policy at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. My primary research areas are international taxation, with a focus on the taxation of multinational firms, and taxation and regulation of the financial sector. I am a co-PI in Munich’s collaborative research center, joint with Berlin, on „Rationality and Competition“ (SFB/CRC TRR 190). I have been at LMU Munich since 2002 and currently serve as the economics department’s dean of studies. I am on the Review Board for Economics and Business of the German Science Foundation (DFG). In the past, I have served as Co-Editor in Chief for the journal International Tax and Public Finance.
