Welcome to my website!

I am a social scientist with a strong record of leveraging quantitative and qualitative research methods to help answer key questions for diverse clients. I hold a Ph.D. in Political Science from Rice University. In May 2022, I joined Purple Strategies as a Research Manager. In this role, I manage and execute research scope(s) from brief through deliverable. I have significant experience translating broad research objectives into testable research hypotheses, and selecting the most appropriate methodology for the task at hand. I routinely work with cross-functional client teams to deliver integrated findings that address initial research objectives and help achieve business goals for Fortune 100 corporations. I am comfortable in a client-facing role that requires presenting complex data in a compelling manner that inspires action.

Prior to joining Purple Strategies, I worked in government, and in applied research in tech and at a think tank. You can learn more about my experience by navigating to the "About" section on this website.

My academic research agenda broadly focuses on political behavior, voter knowledge, and gender stereotypes. In my doctoral dissertation, I studied the extent to which gender and gender stereotypes impact how voters evaluate complex coalitional political environments. To answer this question, I designed, implemented and analyzed a survey experiment fielded in six Western democracies. This work was funded by several grant agencies.
