The Anderson Ditch Company operates and manages the Anderson Ditch that runs through Central and South Boulder. Water is diverted from Boulder Creek at the canyon mouth, just to the south of the Boulder Creek path. The ditch carries water through University Hill before terminating into Bear Canyon Creek at the northwest corner of Table Mesa & Broadway.
Anderson Ditch water is used to support domestic and institutional landscaping and parks, and is part of the municipal water supply for the City of Boulder. In addition the ditch can carry storage water for delivery to Baseline Reservoir.
