Anderson Santos de Freitas has a bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and a Master's degree in Biological Sciences from the Federal University of Pampa (UNIPAMPA, Brazil). Specialist in Data Science & Analytics from the Luiz de Queiróz College of Agriculture (ESALQ/USP, Brazil). Currently Ph.D. Candidate at the Center for Nuclear Energy in Agriculture (CENA-USP), working with Plant-Soil Feedback in degraded areas of the Central Amazon. He has international experience as a Visiting Student for one year at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). Writer in his (rare) spare time and co-creator of the Biotec em Pauta podcast. He has experience in the areas of Microbiology, Molecular Biology, and Bioinformatics, especially in Next Generation Sequencing and microbiome analysis. He is a collaborator of the Brazilian Microbiome Project (BMP), being also an enthusiast of the life sciences and the art of communication.
