Tracey is a passionate educator who supports inclusive practices and promotes student independence. She started her career in education at Fountain Gate Secondary College, where she successfully implemented a concert band program to run in conjunction with the already established rock band program. Working as a supply teacher in London saw Tracey work in a variety of special education settings, including six months at West Wimbledon Primary School's Treetops Base for Autism. These experiences developed her passion for working with students with additional learning needs, and she pursued this upon her return to Melbourne. Tracey worked at Dandenong Valley Special Developmental School while studying her Master of Special and Inclusive Education, and in 2023 commenced the position as LINKS Teacher at Kingswood College. Her combined experiences as a classroom music teacher, band director, and special education teacher enables her to effectively support classroom teachers in implementing evidence-based strategies to promote inclusivity.
Tracey now serves as a Learning Development Teacher at Carey Baptist Grammar School.
