Anastasiou Achilleas is a 2st year Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Statistics and Actuarial - Financial Mathematics, University of the Aegean, Samos, Greece, under the supervision of Associate Professor John Tsimikas.

​He is currently researcher at the Laboratory of Statistics and Data Analysis. Before starting my Ph.D, I received my B.Sc. (Hons, BSc , 2017) in Statistics and Actuarial - Financial Mathematics from the University of the Aegean and a M.Sc. (with excellence, 2019 ) in Statistics and Data Analysis from the Department of Statistics and Actuarial-Financial Mathematics of the University of the Aegean.

His PhD thesis title is: "The Assesment of Diagnostic Accuracy Using Standard And Non-Standard Measures"

Research interests: Biostatistics , Mathematical Statistics, Multivariate Analysis, Regression Analysis, Generalized Linear Modeling , Time series analysis.
