Ana Sofia Pessoa

Welcome to my website!

I am a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Bonn and a member of the Research Training Group “The Macroeconomics of Inequality” and of the MacroFinance and MacroHistory Lab. I am currently doing a traineeship at the OECD (Directorate for Employment, Labour and Social Affairs).

I will be joining the International Monetary Fund (IMF) as an economist in the Economist Program (EP) in September 2022.

My research fields are applied economics and macroeconomics, with a particular interest in fiscal policy, labour economics, and household finance.
