Short bio. I obtained by PhD degree in Mathematics and Computer Science by the Université de Grenoble (France) in November 2010 under the supervision of Frédéric Maffray. I am currently Associate Professor at the Dipartamento di Statistica, Informatica, Applizacioni "Giuseppe Parenti" (DISIA) of the University of Florence. I am also currently on a leave of absence as Associate Professor at the  Math Department of Universidade Federal do Ceará (Brazil), where I have been employed since 2011. I spent a sabbatical year (2015/2016) at the Centrum Wiskunde & Informatica (Netherlands) and one year (2021/2022) as Visiting Professor at the Universitá degli Studi di Firenze (Itália). I was head of the Math Department of UFC from 2013 to 2015.   I received the L'Óreal/UNESCO/ABC Prize for Women in Science in 2014 and in 2021 was elected affiliated member of the ABC (Academia Brasileira de Ciências). I am currently a member of the editorial board of the Journal of Computer and Systems Sciences. I have worked mainly on graph problems, in particular coloring problems and convexity problems, and lately I have been interested in Temporal Graphs.
