I'm a postdoctoral researcher at IIT Kanpur working with Prof. Somnath Jha and Prof. Aprameyo Pal.
Previously I have held postdoc positions at UniDistance Suisse, Brig and Concordia University, Montreal where I was mentored by Prof. David Loeffler and Prof. Adrian Iovita respectively.
I obtained my PhD in mathematics from University of Milan in December 2022, under the supervision of Prof. Fabrizio Andreatta. In my thesis, I studied the problem of p-adic iteration of the Gauss–Manin connection in the setting of Hilbert modular forms.
Even before that, I obtained my Master's degree in the ALGANT program.
I completed my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Chennai Mathematical Institute in 2017.
My research focuses on p-adic variation of (nearly) automorphic sheaves, and their application to the construction of p-adic L-functions. Such p-adic L-functions play a crucial role in proving instances of the Bloch-Kato conjecture, and are a fundamental object of study in Iwasawa theory. Recently, I have also found interest in the study of p-adic integration theories.
