Narrative/summary of experience:

Through my research of meningococcal disease, I was able to gather articles that described what this disease is and how it is transmitted into individuals. Aspects such as the causative agent, diagnosis and treatment, and symptoms and complications were addressed to provide an overview of this disease.

Reflection:

As I researched this disease, I was able to connect what I have learned in my health science classes to meningococcal disease. I was able to apply concept from cell biology and DNA to understand how this disease inflitrates human cells to reproduce and cause harm.
