Narrative/summary of experience:
The English Reading, Writing and Inquiry class was a course that challenged my way of thinking. This course required students to research America's history, and to write cultural perspectives based on selected works. The final project of this course was to create a multi-model portfolio, which consisted for both visual, audio and textual documentation to help articulate a story or perspective about the American dream. This course was beneficial to my career because it helped me analyze various perspectives differently, and to always approach the various works holistically.

Reflection:
This course helped me learn how to effectively and efficiently analyze various perspectives and works in a concise manner. Knowing how to write and analyze situations with purpose is incredibly important within a career in healthcare, as it can mean life or death. This course helped me develop interpersonal skills that can be applied in any setting, not just in healthcare.
