Dr. Ananya Jana, (অনন্যা জানা), AI/ML Researcher
Welcome! I am an Assistant Professor at Marshall University (Fall 2024 -). I received my PhD from Rutgers university in Spring, 2023.
Prior to joining PhD, I worked at Dell R&D Bengaluru for five years. I received my Master's Degree and Bachelor's degree from Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati (IIT G) and West Bengal University of Technology (WBUT) respectively. I am fortunate to have been advised by Prof. Dimitris N. Metaxas. I worked at Nokia Bell Labs as a summer intern with Dr. Ilija Hadzic on the problem of floor map exploration by robots. I worked at NEC Laboratories from January 2021-August, 2021 as a research intern with Dr. Jian Fang on the problem of panoramic multi-modal data fusion. From September 2021 to January 2023, I received an experiential learning opportunity (ELO) fellowship from Colgate-Palmolive Company and worked on developing machine learning methods for intraoral scan analysis.
