About me

I am a postdoctoral fellow with the GeoMatch team at Stanford Immigration Policy Lab since June 2023, where I work on data-driven algorithms for matching people to places.

I received a PhD in Decision, Risk, and Operations from Columbia University, New York, in May 2023. My doctoral research, advised by Prof. Assaf Zeevi, dwelt on statistical and algorithmic principles for sequential decision making in multi-armed bandit problems. Prior to joining Columbia, I received my Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bombay, India.

I am interested in optimization under uncertainty, broadly defined; please see the Research section for active work-streams.Â
