Amy Dunivan Raines serves as Director of Development at Agape Clinic, where she guides Advancement efforts in fundraising, communications, and strategy. Working in close partnership with the Executive Director, she helps sustain the Clinic’s growth and expand access to compassionate, high-quality medical, dental, behavioral health, nutrition, and specialty care for individuals and families who lack access to essential care. Her work is shaped by a personal commitment to Agape’s mission of unconditional healing and hope for all.
In 2025, Agape expects to provide more than 21,500 patient visits, continuing its role as the only donor-funded clinic in the nation offering fully integrated care—medical, dental, behavioral health, nutrition, and specialty services—all without prerequisites or barriers. No insurance, ID, income verification, or zip code requirements are ever asked of patients. Every individual is welcomed with dignity and cared for holistically, reflecting the Clinic’s core belief that healthcare is a human right.
A native of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Amy earned her Bachelor of Music in Oboe Performance from Arkansas State University and her Master of Music in Oboe Performance and Pedagogy at Southern Methodist University, where she studied under Dr. Dan Ross and Erin Hannigan. She later expanded her expertise in nonprofit leadership by earning the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential and a certification in Nonprofit Management (CNM) from the Center for Nonprofit Management at SMU. She is an active member of the Greater Dallas Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Dallas Women’s Leadership Association.
Before evolving into nonprofit leadership, Amy built a vibrant career as a professional oboist and teacher. She mentored hundreds of young musicians in her Dallas studio and performed with world-class ensembles, including the Chicago Symphony Orchestra, Dallas Symphony Orchestra, Sinfonia Iuventus Orchestra, Saint Petersburg Philharmonic, and Arkansas Symphony Orchestra. Her work has transcended genres and generations, sharing the stage with artists such as Ben Folds, The Roots, Celtic Woman, Mannheim Steamroller, Amy Grant, and Michael W. Smith.
Her leadership journey has also included serving as Executive Director of the David R. Davidson TowerArts Series, Instrumental Director at Highland Park United Methodist Church, and founder of Caledonia Chamber Winds.
Beyond her professional life, Amy treasures time with her husband, Alan, their blended family of five children, and their Goldendoodle, Hildegard. She continues to freelance as an oboist in Dallas and is passionate about human rights advocacy, community care, and building a kinder, more just, and more beautiful world.
