The practice of yoga is an effective, low cost way to tune your mind, tone your body, and tap into deeper connections. A good yoga class can be deeply nourishing on many levels, and forging a connection with a teacher, a group, and a style of yoga brings myriad benefits. Sometimes, though, a group studio class isn't the best choice, often because a person has mental health and/or physical challenges that make going to a group studio class difficult. In these cases, therapeutic yoga in a limited group or individual session might better serve a person's needs.
