If you want a wireless, plug-and-play system with a compact 7-inch monitor that fits easily into tight RV spaces without complex wiring, choose AMTIFO RV Backup Camera; if you need a massive 10-inch all-in-one touchscreen with CarPlay integration and four-camera coverage for a large semi-truck or bus, choose Losuudy Truck RV Camera.
• AMTIFO RV Backup Camera: Its biggest strength is the 100-foot wireless range and seamless Furrion compatibility, making installation a breeze for mobile setups. The trade-off is a smaller 7-inch screen and the lack of smartphone integration features like navigation.
• Losuudy Truck RV Camera: This unit shines with its massive 10-inch touch display and built-in CarPlay, turning your dash into a command center. However, it requires hard-wiring, involves significant installation effort, and is explicitly too large for standard cars or SUVs.
• Best for: Choose AMTIFO if you prioritize quick setup and portability; choose Losuudy if you demand a full infotainment hub and surround-view capability for heavy-duty vehicles.
The AMTIFO system is designed for the owner who values convenience above all else. If you are an SUV owner looking to upgrade your rear visibility without turning your garage into a construction zone, this is likely your match. The core appeal here is the "no professional help needed" promise. The 1080P HD resolution ensures that whether you are reversing out of a narrow campsite in bright sunlight or navigating a dark parking lot at night, the image remains crisp. The 170-degree wide-angle lens covers a massive field of view, effectively eliminating those dreaded blind spots that often catch drivers off guard.
What really sets this apart for the average recreational vehicle user is the wireless architecture. With a 100-foot transmission range, you have immense flexibility in positioning the camera. You aren't tethered by cables that might get snagged on hitches or tangled during storage. The system supports a split-screen view on the included 7-inch DVR monitor, allowing you to see multiple angles if you decide to add more cameras later. Plus, the built-in recording function means you aren't just watching the road behind you; you are capturing evidence of any incidents, which is crucial for insurance purposes while traveling.
However, this camera isn't for everyone. If you are driving a massive commercial truck where a 7-inch screen feels cramped against the dashboard, or if you desperately need real-time GPS navigation and music streaming directly from your phone without using your car's existing radio, this unit will feel limited. It lacks the smart features found in larger systems. But for the vast majority of RVers and SUV owners who just want a reliable, weatherproof backup solution that installs in minutes and works instantly, the AMTIFO hits the sweet spot between performance and simplicity.

The Losuudy system targets a completely different demographic: the operator of large, heavy-duty vehicles who wants their dashboard to be a comprehensive control center. This is not a gadget for casual weekend trips; it is built for serious hauling, long-haul logistics, or large Class A motorhomes where situational awareness is critical. The headline feature is the 10-inch oversized display. In a cab filled with instruments and controls, a screen this size dominates the view, offering a level of clarity and immersion that smaller monitors simply cannot match.
The standout capability here is the integration with CarPlay and Android Auto. By connecting your smartphone via Bluetooth or radio, you gain access to real-time navigation, voice-controlled calls, and media streaming right on the backup screen. Imagine being able to answer a call or change your route using Siri or Google Assistant while monitoring your surroundings. The quad-camera setup takes this further by providing a 360-degree view around the vehicle. Four 1080P cameras mean you can see the sides, the rear, and the front simultaneously, which is invaluable when maneuvering a long trailer through tight urban streets or loading docks.
But you must be realistic about the installation process. Unlike the wireless plug-and-play nature of other systems, this is a hard-wired solution. You are dealing with cables running from the front to the back of a potentially massive vehicle, connecting to an ignition switch or car charger. Furthermore, the manufacturer notes that due to the large size of the monitor and the complexity of the wiring, this system is generally unsuitable for smaller vehicles like minivans or standard SUVs. If you fit that description, buying this would be a waste of time. It is strictly for those with large vehicles who are willing to tackle a multi-hour installation to get a premium, all-in-one experience.
• Best for battery life and wireless freedom → AMTIFO RV Backup Camera. The 100ft wireless range eliminates cable clutter and allows for flexible power routing, ideal for temporary or semi-permanent setups.
• Best for infotainment and navigation → Losuudy Truck RV Camera. Only this unit offers native CarPlay/Android Auto support, bringing maps and music directly to the camera screen.
• Best for ease of installation → AMTIFO RV Backup Camera. No drilling or hard-wiring to the ignition is required; it is designed for DIY users who want immediate results.
• Best for total vehicle coverage → Losuudy Truck RV Camera. The four-camera array provides a full-body view that a single rear-facing camera simply cannot achieve.
• Best for compact mounting → AMTIFO RV Backup Camera. The 7-inch monitor is significantly smaller (roughly 7 x 4.7 inches) compared to the Losuudy's massive footprint, making it easier to hide or mount in tighter spaces.
• Best for extreme durability claims → Both are excellent, but Losuudy emphasizes an all-metal body and IP68 rating, while AMTIFO boasts IP69K for high-pressure washdowns, catering to slightly different cleaning needs.
• Best for SUV owners → AMTIFO RV Backup Camera. The size and wireless nature make it far more practical for personal SUV use than the industrial-grade Losuudy system.
• Best for long-term security recording → Both include DVR recording, but Losuudy includes a 64GB SD card out of the box, whereas AMTIFO relies on its internal storage capabilities.
After weighing the design specs and intended use cases, I would buy the AMTIFO RV Backup Camera for my own SUV. The requirement for a system that doesn't require hours of rewiring or a dedicated mechanic to install is non-negotiable for me. While the Losuudy offers impressive tech like CarPlay, its physical size and hard-wired nature make it overkill and impractical for a standard SUV. The AMTIFO delivers the 1080P clarity and night vision I need for safety, plus the peace of mind of wireless flexibility, without demanding a construction project to get started. It is the smarter choice for anyone who wants reliability without the headache.
Yes, the AMTIFO is explicitly designed for flexibility and fits well in RVs, trucks, and trailers, including SUVs, thanks to its compact 7-inch monitor and wireless design.
No, the Losuudy system is designed specifically for large vehicles like semi-trucks and buses; the manufacturer advises against using it in cars, minivans, or SUVs due to the large monitor size and hard-wiring requirements.
Both cameras feature enhanced night vision; the AMTIFO uses IR technology for low-light conditions, while the Losuudy boasts stunning night vision even in very low light with its 1080P sensor.
Both systems include DVR recording functions for security purposes, but the Losuudy comes with a 64GB Micro SD card included, ensuring you have ample storage immediately upon unboxing.
