An Arts and Sciences Showcase is a low pressure way to show off your work to your kingdom and Amtgard in general. No judges, no scores, and no feedback unless you want it. This is a chance for you to display your body of work, see the work of others, and recommend them for awards.
Not everyone enjoys the competitive nature of traditional Amtgard arts and sciences tournaments, the pressure, the judging, the anxiety, and the hurt feelings that can happen easily, and all too often.
This particular showcase is ongoing, and only in a virtual format. You fill out a quick form, and I will create a google website for you and link it here, linked per your kingdom. Then, I hand it over to you, and you fill that website up with your artwork and links to use as an online portfolio.

Please feel free to share this site around Amtgard social media groups! I would love to see as many people be able to participate in this virtual showcase as possible.
This requires a Gmail address to work.
Currently you can only update your google site on a computer, not a mobile device.
The google form will collect the following information:
Basic Info. Your persona name, your kingdom and park. ORK and Amtwiki Links. Write a small biography about yourself if you would like.
Personal Links. Do you have an Etsy? Instagram? YouTube? Twitch Channel? TikTok? A website? A Facebook you would like to link to? Have you organized your photos into albums on google photos or Facebook or any other service? You want to link to something on your site? Collect it and enter it into the google form.
Feedback. Do you want to have people be able to reach out to you about your artwork, and give helpful advice, or do you not want that? You decide. If you do choose to, consider creating your own google form where you receive the feedback, or a Sarahah. This is up to you.
I will then receive the form, and when I can, create a google site for you, based on the information you provided. I will contact you via messenger, and give you ownership of your own google site. You can then fill it with as much of your own body of work that you would like to show off. Google sites are incredibly easy, and you will always be able to access and update your site by going to https://drive.google.com/ and find your site. I will link your site to this website, and sort by kingdom.
Please Note: Please place anything that would need a Content Warning for behind a link on your site. Be kind.
Yeah. I am. It might take a bit, considering I work and have life obligations, but making a website on google sites is incredibly easy. And if you have a gmail account, it's part of your google drive. I will make the initial site, but it's really for you to make of as you please. Google sites are easy to create, they require no coding, and are about as complicated as making a google doc. You upload your own artwork, and you control it. Already have a website that acts as a portfolio? Link it in the google form and I will link to it on your site.
You can recommend two ways now! I maintain an Interkingdom Award Recommendation Form List that you can use and you can now recommend awards on the ORK, as well, if you are logged in.
Here are some links to some good tutorials on how to make a google site, and more importantly, how to update it and add photos and videos, etc.
