Our purposes are the following:

• Encourage mathematical scholarship and research between students in Colorado State University.

• Provide an organization to help prepare mathematics students for a future in academia or industry.

• The Chapter will promote student involvement in (and attendance to) workshops and conferences organized by the AMS as well as other academic and industrial organizations.

• The Chapter will also aim to give students a view into the wide range of work and contributions that a mathematician may make.
